Turnover in F&O segment rises
The Nifty February 2019 futures traded at 10,887.10, at premium of 7 points over the Nifty's closing of 10,880.10 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 6.24 lakh crore compared with Rs 4.64 lakh crore reported in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 88.45 points or 0.82% to settle at 10,880.10
Reliance Industries, Yes Bank and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Reliance Industries February 2019 futures traded at 1,232.45, compared with spot closing price of 1231.30. Yes Bank February 2019 futures traded at 228.25, compared with spot closing price of 227.80. ICICI Bank February 2019 futures traded at 356.10, compared with spot closing price of 355.70.
The February 2019 F&O contracts expire on Thursday, 28 February 2019.
