Turnover declines
Nifty July 2014 futures were at 7669, at a premium of 34.30 points over spot closing of 7634.70. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment decreased to Rs 95494.81 crore from Rs 109379.83 crore on Monday, 30 June 2014.
Maruti Suzuki India July 2014 futures were at 2606, at a premium over spot closing of 2584.05.
Tata Steel July 2014 futures were at 535.95, at a discount over spot closing of 540.70.
Tata Motors July 2014 futures were at 454.50, near spot closing of 452.40.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 23.35 points or 0.31% to settle at 7,634.70, its highest closing level since 12 June 2014.
The July 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 31 July 2014.
