Turnover drops
Nifty July 2014 futures were at 7610, at a premium of 40.75 points over spot closing of 7569.25. Nifty June 2014 futures were at 7576.25, near spot closing. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 244346.67 crore from Rs 329066.79 crore on Tuesday, 24 June 2014.
Tata Motors DVR June 2014 futures were at 290.50, matching spot closing of 290.50.
State Bank of India June 2014 futures were at 2688.50, at a discount compared to spot closing of 2689.
HDFC Bank June 2014 futures were at 824.55, at a discount compared to spot closing of 824.90.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 10.95 points or 0.14% to settle at 7,569.25, its lowest closing level since 23 June 2014.
The July 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 31 July 2014. The near-month June 2014 derivatives contracts expire tomorrow, 26 June 2014.
