Nifty June 2015 futures trade at discount to spot price

F&O turnover surges

Nifty June 2015 futures were at 7,960.15, at a discount of 5.20 points compared to spot closing of 7965.35. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 2.80 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 1.88 lakh crore registered during the previous trading session.

ICICI Bank June 2015 futures were at 289.20, near spot closing of 289.

Dish TV India June 2015 futures were at 102.80, near spot closing of 102.40.

State Bank of India (SBI) June 2015 futures were at 254.65, near spot closing of 254.10.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty fell 159.10 points or 1.96% to settle at 7,965.35, its lowest closing level since 21 October 2014.

The June 2015 F&O contracts are set to expire on 25 June 2015.
