Turnover rises
Nifty November 2013 futures were at 6225, at a premium of 36 points over spot closing of 6189. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 141960.73 crore from Rs 133748.62 crore on Thursday, 14 November 2013. The stock market was closed on Friday, 15 November 2013 on account of Muharram.
State Bank of India November 2013 futures were at 1779.50, at a premium over spot closing of 1768.
Tata Steel November 2013 futures were at 389, at a premium over spot closing of 387.70.
Tata Motors November 2013 futures were at 393.05, near spot closing of 392.
In the spot market, the CNX Nifty rose 132.85 points or 2.19% to settle at 6,189, its highest closing level since 6 November 2013.
The November 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 28 November 2013.
