Turnover spurts
Nifty November 2014 futures were at 8136.20, a premium of 45.75 points over spot closing of 8090.45. Nifty October 2014 futures were at 8091.45, almost near spot closing of 8090.45. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment advanced to Rs 317675.83 crore from Rs 261215.74 crore on Tuesday, 28 October 2014.
State Bank of India October 2014 futures were at 2651.50, at a premium compared to spot closing of 2645.
Reliance Industries October 2014 futures were at 951.85, at a premium over spot closing of 951.05.
Tata Steel October 2014 futures were at 471.75, at a discount over spot closing of 472.50.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 62.85 points or 0.78% at 8,090.45, its highest closing level since 22 September 2014.
The October 2014 derivatives contracts expire tomorrow, 30 October 2014.
