Turnover drops
Nifty October 2014 futures were at 8008, a premium of 49.10 points over spot closing of 7958.90. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 121599.61 crore from Rs 224803.01 crore on Friday, 26 September 2014.
Aurobindo Pharma October 2014 futures were at 953, at a premium compared to spot closing of 945.45.
State Bank of India October 2014 futures were at 2465.15, at a premium over spot closing of 2455.20.
Reliance Industries October 2014 futures were at 943.90, at a premium over spot closing of 933.35.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 9.95 points or 0.12% to settle at 7,958.90, its lowest closing level since 25 September 2014.
The October 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 30 October 2014.
