Turnover drops
Nifty September 2013 futures were at 5933.95, at a premium of 20.80 points over spot closing of 5913.15. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 150170.85 crore from Rs 184419.81 crore on Tuesday, 10 September 2013.
State Bank of India September 2013 futures were at 1695.95, at a premium over spot closing of 1688.
Axis Bank September 2013 futures were at 1017, at a discount compared to spot closing of 1029.30.
Tata Motors September 2013 futures were at 343, near spot closing of 341.20.
In the spot market, the CNX Nifty advanced 16.40 points or 0.28% to settle at 5,913.15, its highest closing level since 24 July 2013.
The September 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 26 September 2013.
