Turnover rises
Nifty September 2014 futures were at 8,112.85, at a premium of 26 points over spot closing of 8,086.85. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 169313.68 crore from Rs 145723.34 crore on Thursday, 4 September 2014.
IRB Infrastructure Developers September 2014 futures were at 266.95, at a premium over spot closing of 266.
State Bank of India September 2014 futures were at 2,523.35, at a premium over spot closing of 2,516.
Arvind September 2014 futures were at 324.50, at a premium over spot closing of 322.30.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty fell 9.10 points or 0.11% to settle at 8,086.85, its lowest closing level since 2 September 2014.
The September 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 25 September 2014.
