NLC India and Damodar Valley Corporation call of JV agreement

On mutual agreement

NLC India announced that the company and Damodar Valley Corporation had earlier signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) for formation of a Joint Venture company for acquiring DVC' s Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station (2x600MW). In this connection, DVC vide letter 27 March 2018 has communicated that DVC is no more interested in pursuing the above JVA and would like to call off on mutual agreed basis under intimation to Administrative Ministries.
