Novartis India net profit declines 25.83% in the March 2013 quarter
Capital MarketNet profit of Novartis India declined 25.83% to Rs 24.41 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 32.91 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose 4.89% to Rs 208.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 198.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.
For the Audited full year,net profit declined 21.24% to Rs 119.73 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 152.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 6.81% to Rs 886.10 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 829.57 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
