NTPC receives MCA approval for scheme of amalgamation

NTPC announced that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) vide its order dated 29 July 2022 has approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Nabinagar Power Generating Company and Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam, wholly owned subsidiaries of the company into NTPC.

The Scheme of Amalgamation (Scheme) shall become effective after filing of the Scheme with the Registrar of Companies.
