Omkar Speciality Chemicals net profit declines 13.88% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 39.08% to Rs 68.76 crore

Net profit of Omkar Speciality Chemicals declined 13.88% to Rs 4.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 4.97 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 39.08% to Rs 68.76 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 49.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 29.81% to Rs 14.60 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 20.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 4.01% to Rs 209.62 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 201.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
