Orient Cement standalone net profit rises 126.64% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 27.06% to Rs 831.62 crore

Net profit of Orient Cement rose 126.64% to Rs 99.88 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 44.07 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 27.06% to Rs 831.62 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 654.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit rose 147.36% to Rs 214.19 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 86.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 4.03% to Rs 2324.09 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 2421.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
