Piramal Enterprises standalone net profit rises 2051.98% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 8.56% to Rs 1003.01 crore

Net profit of Piramal Enterprises rose 2051.98% to Rs 245.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 11.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 8.56% to Rs 1003.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 923.94 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 33.25% to Rs 518.47 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 776.78 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 12.68% to Rs 3288.63 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 3766.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
