Prakash Industries standalone net profit rises 97.18% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 29.01% to Rs 627.73 crore

Net profit of Prakash Industries rose 97.18% to Rs 34.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 17.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 29.01% to Rs 627.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 486.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 246.45% to Rs 81.00 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 23.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.85% to Rs 2173.50 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2053.29 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
