Rabi Crop Sowing Crosses 500 lakh Hectare Area, About 29 lakh Hectare more than Last Year

The total rabi sown area, as per reports received from States, during the week ending 13 December 2013 stands at 506.98 lakh hectare as compared to 477.57 lakh hectare at this time last year.
