Rupee closes flat

At 59.33/34 per dollar

Rupee closed steady at 59.33/34 per dollar on Thursday (05 June 2014), after being range-bound during the session, as gains in local equities and Asian currencies were offset by dollar buying from the central bank. The rupee was at the same level at previous day's close.
