Rupee down

At 61.69/70 per dollar

The Indian rupee opened lower on Monday (07 October 2013) at 61.69/70 per dollar, as against its previous close of 61.43/44 on Friday, due to lower opening of stock in the domestic market and demand from importers for the US currency.
