Shares of five companies entering NSE's futures & options segment today, 10 September 2014, rose by 0.21% to 1.32% at 10:11 IST on BSE.
TVS Motor Company (up 1.32%), Motherson Sumi Systems (up 4.26%), Eicher Motors (up 3.32%), SKS Microfinance (up 0.28%) and MindTree (up 0.21%), edged higher.
The S&P BSE Sensex was down 116.63 points, or 0.43% at 27,148.69.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) included SKS Microfinance, TVS Motor Company, Eicher Motors, Motherson Sumi Systems and Mindtree in the future and option (F&O) segment from today, 10 September 2014.
Typically, stocks entering the F&O segment gain ground due to improved liquidity and absence of circuit filters in the F&O segment.
