Shakti Pumps (India) net profit rises 99.38% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 90.64% to Rs 98.14 crore

Net profit of Shakti Pumps (India) rose 99.38% to Rs 9.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 4.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 90.64% to Rs 98.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 51.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 43.69% to Rs 26.51 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 18.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 41.42% to Rs 306.74 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 216.90 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
