Shanthi Gears net profit declines 76.41% in the March 2013 quarter
Capital MarketNet profit of Shanthi Gears declined 76.41% to Rs 1.92 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 8.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 25.42% to Rs 36.70 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 49.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.
For the Audited full year,net profit declined 45.01% to Rs 15.47 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 28.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 15.48% to Rs 145.65 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 172.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
