Shipping Corporation of India standalone net profit rises 173.86% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 2.12% to Rs 916.90 crore

Net profit of Shipping Corporation of India rose 173.86% to Rs 254.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 92.92 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 2.12% to Rs 916.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 897.86 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 78.35% to Rs 253.75 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 142.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 0.64% to Rs 3469.47 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 3447.35 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
