Sicagen India standalone net profit declines 7.39% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 8.87% to Rs 115.52 crore

Net profit of Sicagen India declined 7.39% to Rs 4.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 4.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 8.87% to Rs 115.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 126.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 137.62% to Rs 7.20 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 26.18% to Rs 449.45 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 608.82 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
