Post transaction, SMALLCAP World Fund decreased its shareholding to 28,91,114 equity shares or 5.65% stake from 39,95,946 equity shares or 7.89% stake held in Metropolis. The deal was executed through open market.Metropolis Healthcare is a leading diagnostics company in India with a widespread presence across 19 states in India. The company's consolidated net profit fell 3.5% to Rs 58.40 crore on a 4.9% increase in net sales to Rs 302.62 crore in Q2 FY22 over Q2 FY21.
Shares of Metropolis Healthcare were trading 3.95% higher at Rs 3,255.55 on BSE.
