Steel Authority of India consolidated net profit rises 31.06% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 43.98% to Rs 23284.89 crore

Net profit of Steel Authority of India rose 31.06% to Rs 3469.88 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 2647.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 43.98% to Rs 23284.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 16171.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit rose 95.60% to Rs 4148.13 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 2120.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales rose 12.08% to Rs 69113.61 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 61664.16 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
