Steel Authority of India standalone net profit declines 26.15% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 13.83% to Rs 11469.37 crore

Net profit of Steel Authority of India declined 26.15% to Rs 334.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 452.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 13.83% to Rs 11469.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 13310.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit declined 20.02% to Rs 2092.68 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 2616.48 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales declined 2.12% to Rs 45208.05 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 46188.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
