Steelco Gujarat standalone net profit rises 46.20% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 3.97% to Rs 152.05 crore

Net profit of Steelco Gujarat rose 46.20% to Rs 15.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 10.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.97% to Rs 152.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 146.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 0.99 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 3.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 9.94% to Rs 495.76 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 550.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
