Talwalkars Better Value Fitness acquires land for its leisure club project in Pune

Talwalkars Better Value Fitness announced that the Company through its wholly-owned subsidiary Talwalkars Club has completed acquisition of land for its leisure club project in Pune, India from Kolte Patil Group.

The designs of the building plan have already been prepared in consultation with a leading international club company and it is hoped that construction can start shortly, as soon as municipal and other regulatory approvals are in place. This club will bring international standard facilities to its members in partnership with leading international brands. Facilities are likely to include swimming, badminton, squash, tennis, table tennis along with restaurants, banquet facilities etc.

The Company is optimistic that this will be the first of many clubs that is intended to fill the huge demand - supply gap of sports and leisure club facilities across India. The company is already in talks with several developers to work with them on building and managing as international quality club in their various township projects. The first club is slated to open for membership towards the end of 2015.
