Tata Communications leads gainers in 'A' group

Divi's Laboratories, Adani Enterprises, Zee Entertainment Enterprises and Apollo Tyres are among the other gainers.

Telecommunications company Tata Communications surged 9.48% to Rs 286.40. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 289.50 in intraday today, 11 November 2013.

Drug maker Divi's Laboratories spurted 7.98% to Rs 1101.75 after net profit jumped 73.72% to Rs 205 crore on 19.62% growth in total income to Rs 567 crore in Q2 September 2013 over Q2 September 2012. The result was announced after market hours on Friday, 8 November 2013. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group today, 11 November 2013.

Commodities trading company Adani Enterprises galloped 7.30% to Rs 232.90. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Media company Zee Entertainment Enterprises jumped 5.44% to Rs 280.20. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 284.30 in intraday today, 11 November 2013.

Apollo Tyres climbed 4.05% to Rs 74.50 after a US judge ruled that the Indian firm did not breach its obligation to close its $2.5 billion buyout of US-based Cooper Tire & Rubber Company. The company made the announcement during trading hours today, 11 November 2013. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group today, 11 November 2013.
