Net profit of Tata Sponge Iron rose 49.47% to Rs 12.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 8.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 12.19% to Rs 140.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 159.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.For the full year,net profit declined 66.41% to Rs 30.88 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 91.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 25.38% to Rs 571.79 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 766.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
