Tata Steel announced Q3 FY20 and 9M FY20 production and sales figures (provisional).

Production Q3 FY20 -
Tata Steel India (crude steel production) - 4.46 MT (4.38 MT in Q3 FY19 & 4.50 in Q2 FY20)
Tata Steel Europe (liquid steel production) - 2.50 MT (2.34 MT in Q3 FY19 & 2.45 MT in Q2 FY20)
Tata Steel South East Asia (saleable steel) - 0.49 MT (0.52 MT in Q3 FY19 & 0.57 MT in Q2 FY20)

Production 9M FY20 -
Tata Steel India (crude steel production) - 13.46 MT (12.90 MT in 9M FY19)
Tata Steel Europe (liquid steel production) - 7.60 MT (7.57 MT in 9M FY19)
Tata Steel South East Asia (saleable steel) - 1.63 MT (1.58 MT in 9M FY19)

Sales Q3 FY20 -
Tata Steel India - 4.84 MT (3.89 MT in Q3 FY19 & 4.13 MT in Q2 FY20)
Tata Steel Europe - 2.31 MT (2.35 MT in Q3 FY19 & 2.28 MT in Q2 FY20)
Tata Steel South East Asia - 0.59 MT (0.57 MT in Q3 FY19 & 0.60 MT in Q2 FY20)

Sales 9M FY20 -
Tata Steel India - 12.94 MT (12.02 MT in 9M FY19)
Tata Steel Europe - 6.86 MT (7.07 MT in 9M FY19)
Tata Steel South East Asia - 1.81 MT (1.81 MT in 9M FY19)

Figures for Tata Steel India includes Tata Steel Standalone, Tata Steel BSL (from 18 May 2018) and Tata Steel Long Products (from 09 April 2019) without eliminating inter-company transactions.

Performance update -

-Tata Steel India's 3QFY20 sales volume increased by 17% QoQ with improved market sentiment. Sales volume to auto segment was maintained during the quarter. Branded Product & Retail segment grew 23% QoQ while Industrial Products and Projects grew 12% QoQ. Tata Steel India's2 production volume was flattish on QoQ basis.

-Tata Steel Europe's 3QFY20 production and sales volume was flattish on QoQ basis.

- Tata Steel South East Asia operations registered lower production volume on QoQ basis due to continued sluggishness in Singapore and Thailand markets.
