Net profit of Tata Steel rose 171.88% to Rs 1414.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 520.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 45.51% to Rs 15218.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 10458.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.For the full year,net profit rose 260.44% to Rs 3444.55 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 955.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 24.92% to Rs 47296.99 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 37861.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
