Shares of Hinduja Global Solutions, Kanoria Chemicals & Industries and Kaveri Seed Company dropped by 2.64% to 7.17% at 10:45 IST on BSE after these stocks turned ex-dividend today, 24 August 2015.

The S&P BSE Sensex dropped 1,089.04 points or 3.97% to settle 26,279.76.

Shares of Hinduja Global Solutions lost 2.64% to Rs 453 after turning ex-dividend today, 24 August 2015, for interim dividend of Rs 5 per share for the year ending 31 March 2016. Before turning ex-dividend, the stock offered a dividend yield of 1.07% based on the closing price of Rs 465.30 on Friday, 21 August 2015.

Shares of Kanoria Chemicals & Industries shed 7.17% to Rs 51.75 after turning ex-dividend today, 24 August 2015, for dividend of Rs 1.50 per share for the year ended 31 March 2015. Before turning ex-dividend, the stock offered a dividend yield of 2.69% based on the closing price of Rs 55.75 on Friday, 21 August 2015.

Shares of Kaveri Seed Company dropped 6.07% to Rs 489.95 after turning ex-dividend today, 24 August 2015, for interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share for the year ending 31 March 2016. Before turning ex-dividend, the stock offered a dividend yield of 0.53% based on the closing price of Rs 468.40 on Friday, 21 August 2015.
