Tinplate Company of India standalone net profit declines 42.44% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 29.96% to Rs 172.01 crore

Net profit of Tinplate Company of India declined 42.44% to Rs 7.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 12.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 29.96% to Rs 172.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 245.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 64.53% to Rs 73.38 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 44.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 8.81% to Rs 813.70 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 892.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
