Torrent Pharmaceuticals consolidated net profit rises 174.62% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 29.89% to Rs 1473.00 crore

Net profit of Torrent Pharmaceuticals rose 174.62% to Rs 357.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 130.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 29.89% to Rs 1473.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1134.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 129.29% to Rs 1722.00 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 751.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 42.40% to Rs 6529.00 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4585.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
