Westland Publication to be sold to Amazon Eurasia Holdings S.A.R.L
Trent has entered into definitive agreement to divest its entire stake in Westland Publications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Westland (subsidiary of Trent) to Amazon Eurasia Holdings S.A.R.L.Separately, Trent, Westland and Westland Publications have also executed a Business Transfer Agreement on 27 October 2016 for the transfer of the publishing business of Westland to Westland Publications for a lumpsum consideration of Rs 39.80 crore. The slump sale is expected to be concluded post completion of purchase of Westland Publications by Amazon Eurasia Holdings S.A.R.L.
