Ugar Sugar Works standalone net profit rises 166.26% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 109.95% to Rs 371.38 crore

Net profit of Ugar Sugar Works rose 166.26% to Rs 61.64 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 23.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 109.95% to Rs 371.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 176.89 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 11.28 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 3.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 27.44% to Rs 823.87 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 646.47 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
