UltraTech Cement consolidated net profit declines 38.56% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 34.21% to Rs 9420.76 crore

Net profit of UltraTech Cement declined 38.56% to Rs 446.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 726.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 34.21% to Rs 9420.76 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 7019.65 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 18.02% to Rs 2224.46 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 2713.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 23.79% to Rs 31410.80 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 25374.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
