UltraTech Cement consolidated net profit rises 9.95% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 5.12% to Rs 6850.46 crore

Net profit of UltraTech Cement rose 9.95% to Rs 722.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 657.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 5.12% to Rs 6850.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 6516.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 8.97% to Rs 2286.58 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2098.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 5.09% to Rs 25280.66 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 24055.78 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
