Uttam Galva Steels standalone net profit declines 36.64% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 37.58% to Rs 2047.77 crore

Net profit of Uttam Galva Steels declined 36.64% to Rs 9.58 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 15.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 37.58% to Rs 2047.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 1488.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit declined 12.99% to Rs 30.74 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 35.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 27.88% to Rs 6952.13 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 5436.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
