V-Mart Retail gained 1.73% to Rs 2,715.25 after the company announced that it has opened a new store in Bihar.
In a regulatory filing after market hours yesterday, the company said it has opened a new store in Bihar. Furthermore, the retailer announced that it has also closed two stores in Assam and Uttar Pradesh, respectively. With this, the total number of V-Mart stores now stands at 273.
V-Mart Retail retails readymade garments and accessories. The firm is engaged in value retailing through the chain of stores situated at various places in India. It operates through retail sales segment.
