Vardhman Textiles consolidated net profit rises 45.91% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 0.56% to Rs 1651.08 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Textiles rose 45.91% to Rs 159.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 109.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.56% to Rs 1651.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1660.38 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 44.58% to Rs 578.62 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 400.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 2.20% to Rs 6636.92 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 6785.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
