Vedanta consolidated net profit rises 34.32% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 22.74% to Rs 27630.00 crore

Net profit of Vedanta rose 34.32% to Rs 5675.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 4225.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 22.74% to Rs 27630.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 22511.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 21.00% to Rs 13692.00 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 11316.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 27.19% to Rs 91866.00 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 72225.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
