Vikas Ecotech forays into eco-friendly heat stabilisers market for flexible PVC applications

Set ups manufacturing unit with a capex of Rs 10 crore in Shahjahanpur, Rajasthan

Vikas Ecotech announced its foray into the heat stabiliser segment for flexible PVC applications with the introduction of non-toxic and eco-friendly calcium zinc heat stabilisers. These additives are primarily used in the manufacture of flexible PVC applications such as cables, soft hoses, toys, healthcare products etc. This range of products has a high potential in view of the India PVC industry steadily phasing out toxic metal based stabilisers such as lead.

The trial production of CaZn stabilisers had begun in December 2017 while the commercial production will commence in February 2018. The company has installed this manufacturing unit at its primary manufacturing facility in Shahjahanpur, Rajasthan with a capex of Rs 10 crore. This facility has the potential to generate Rs 60-70 crore of revenue at full capacity.
