Volumes jump at Cholamandalam Investment and Finance counter

Windsor Machines, Sharyans Resources, PI Industries and Den Networks are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 28 March 2014.

Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company clocked volume of 30.50 lakh shares by 13:38 IST on BSE, a 687.01-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock surged 6.63% at Rs 287.90.

Windsor Machines notched up volume of 45.79 lakh shares, a 204.27-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 22,000 shares. The stock surged 9.93% at Rs 23.25.

Sharyans Resources saw volume of 30.62 lakh shares, a 44.68-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 69,000 shares. The stock was locked at 5% upper circuit at Rs 29.90.

PI Industries clocked volume of 2.70 lakh shares, a 22.22-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 12,000 shares. The stock rose 0.95% at Rs 271.

Den Networks saw volume of 5.75 lakh shares, a 6.63-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 87,000 shares. The stock surged 4.16% at Rs 186.50.
