Volumes jump at D B Corp counter

V-Guard Industries, Grindwell Norton, IL&FS Transportation Networks and Ortel Communications are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 5 June 2015.

D B Corp clocked volume of 6.99 lakh shares by 13:45 IST on BSE, a 274.3 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 1.85% at Rs 347.

V-Guard Industries notched up volume of 1.39 lakh shares, a 154.65-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock shed 0.28% at Rs 870.

Grindwell Norton saw volume of 1.04 lakh shares, a 70.27-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 1.7% at Rs 757.65.

IL&FS Transportation Networks clocked volume of 13.48 lakh shares, a 26.16-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 52,000 shares. The stock slumped 5.79% at Rs 145.60. A bulk deal of 12.30 lakh shares was executed on the counter at Rs 145 per share at 10:06 IST on BSE today, 5 June 2015.

Ortel Communications saw volume of 3 lakh shares, a 9.72-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 31,000 shares. The stock dropped 4.74% at Rs 166.80.
