Volumes jump at Gillette India counter
Jubilant Life Sciences, Muthoot Finance, MphasiS, and Godfrey Phillips India are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 26 April 2016.
Gillette India clocked volume of 1.08 lakh shares by 14:00 IST on BSE, a 330.86-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 326 shares. The stock lost 2.57% at Rs 4,258.50.
Jubilant Life Sciences notched up volume of 33.11 lakh shares, a 45.24-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 73,000 shares. The stock rose 3.59% at Rs 404.
Muthoot Finance saw volume of 7.73 lakh shares, a 17.63-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 44,000 shares. The stock was up 0.66% at Rs 197.05.
MphasiS clocked volume of 2.01 lakh shares, a 15.32-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock fell 0.25% at Rs 489.90.
Godfrey Phillips India saw volume of 2.77 lakh shares, a 13.4-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 21,000 shares. The stock tumbled 16.27% at Rs 945.60.
