Volumes jump at GOCL Corp counter

Future Lifestyle Fashions, JM Financial, Prism Cement and Deep Industries are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 22 April 2016.

GOCL Corp clocked volume of 11.07 lakh shares by 12:36 IST on BSE, a 1032.29-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 4.80% to Rs 148.40.

Future Lifestyle Fashions notched up volume of 9.45 lakh shares, a 64.80-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 15,000 shares. The stock rose 3.02% to Rs 85.20.

JM Financial saw volume of 27.38 lakh shares, a 52.50-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 52,000 shares. The stock rose 3.36% to Rs 41.50.

Prism Cement clocked volume of 24.26 lakh shares, a 25.36-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 96,000 shares. The stock rose 2.54% to Rs 88.80.

Deep Industries saw volume of 3.91 lakh shares, a 8.78-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 45,000 shares. The stock rose 5.89% to Rs 158.10 after the company said it has secured a contract worth about Rs 7.79 crore from ONGC. The announcement was made during market hours today, 22 April 2016.
