HDFC Bank clocked volume of 16.18 lakh shares by 13:43 IST on BSE, a 11.05-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.46 lakh shares. The stock lost 0.98% at Rs 816.90.
Gravita India notched up volume of 7.13 lakh shares, a 4.5-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.58 lakh shares. The stock lost 0.14% at Rs 73.50.
Infosys saw volume of 1.50 lakh shares, a 2.62-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 57,000 shares. The stock rose 1.58% at Rs 3,345.
Infosys' consolidated net profit as per International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) fell 3.5% to Rs 2886 crore on 0.8% decline in revenue to Rs 12770 crore in Q1 June 2014 over Q4 March 2014. The result was announced before market hours today, 11 July 2014.
NTPC clocked volume of 14.91 lakh shares, a 2.29-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6.50 lakh shares. The stock lost 1.12% at Rs 149.50.
Voltas saw volume of 4.47 lakh shares, a 1.68-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 2.66 lakh shares. The stock tumbled 6.22% at Rs 189.25.
